COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund by DIF (Request a Maximum of $15,000)

The DIF is launching a $200,000 rapid response fund to provide support for organizations on the front lines that are serving people with disabilities during COVID-19. This will include support for mutual aid, organizing, policy, and systems-change advocacy. Applicants can request a maximum of $15,000 to support their COVID-19 efforts.

Research to Support the COVID-19 Response in Humanitarian Settings by Elrha

Elrha is giving research grants to individuals who are willing to produce substantial findings that will be effective to the present virus outbreak humanitarian response and similar incidents in the future. The researcher must be able to demonstrate their topic to be relevant, feasible, and ethical. 

There is no limit to the grant to the number of resources a researcher applies for! The research must be based on the humanitarian response in Lower Middle-Income Countries and the researcher has to be a part of a recognized organization.

MSFHR COVID-19 Research Response Fund (Award Up to $150,000)

The Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) is now launching the first of several funding calls for BC researchers. The focus of this first call will be on high-quality research that evaluates BC’s response to the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and informs ongoing response, especially strategies for avoiding or mitigating subsequent waves of transmission. 

The MSFHR COVID-19 Research Response Fund – Funding Call #1 will provide award amounts of up to $150,000, for a maximum duration of 12 months.

NERC COVID-19 Public Engagement Grant for the United Kingdom

The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) is inviting proposals for public engagement with environmental science that understand, address, or mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak. NERC intends to fund projects costing up to £10,000 each with a total budget of £50,000. Successful projects must be completed by 31 March 2021.
