I’m a philanthropist, social activist and filmmaker based in Gaborone, Botswana, who has directed and produced multiple award-winning short films. Some of my most exciting works include The Cosmic Egg (2020), a virtual reality short film set in the Botswana veld, which was selected for the 2020 National Arts festival in South Africa, No winners in war (2021), a
documentary selected for the 2020 Talents Durban and Durban Film Mart platforms, as well as Central Intelligence seasons 1 and 2 (2020 – 2021), currently streaming on the local VOD platform Upictv. As I experience more of the world, I hope to continue exploring impactful narratives that reflect who we were, who we are and who we aspire to be, because I believe
that everyone has a story to tell that no one else can express better.
Beyond film I have found ways to be impactful in young people’s lives as a reflection of the privileges I enjoy now but didn’t in the past. Through various organizations, including the 2020 and 2021 Youth Opportunities Global Ambassadors programs, the African Voices Debate Trainers program and Enda Mbeli Afrika, I have collaborated with young people all
over the world to try and ensure equal access to different opportunities. One of my core beliefs is that given equal access to resources, we can all thrive and contribute meaningfully to our communities, thus my commitment to every cause I am involved with.
